– A pair of Marvel castings popped up today, and both are quite exciting: first off, David Tennant, aka the Doctor Who your cousin thinks is really cute, has been cast as Kilgrave, aka the Purple Man on A.K.A. Jessica Jones, Marvel’s second to be released Netflix series. He joins Krysten Ritter (in the title role) as announced stars of the series.

– In equally large news, Baron Zemo’s role in Captain America: Civil War has been confirmed, as has who will be playing the good Baron: Daniel Brühl. Brühl, best known for his role in Inglorious Basterds was announced as part of the cast late last year, but without confirmation as to who he would be playing.

– While nothing is imminent, it appears that Fox is discussing bringing the X-Men to the small screen. This makes a lot of sense, as X-Men Apocalypse will wrap up the second X-Men trilogy, and might lead to a new cast, part of which could be spun off into a television series. Reports claim that the earliest the show could be ready would be the 2016/2017 TV season, but even that seems a bit presumptuous.

– Joss Whedon has, more or less, declined directing Avengers: Infinity War, the two-part conclusion to the Avengers trilogy. This isn’t exactly a surprise, but probably a let down for a lot of people.

– Gail Simone and Jim Califiore’s “Leaving Megalopolis” has topped the 2014 Comixology Submit charts. Congrats, Gail and Jim!

– And there was great rejoicing: after 20 years of being out of print, “The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past” is coming back to print (the graphic novel, obviously).

– In case you were one of the six people on the planet still super excited about Fox’s Fantastic Four film, check out the possible costume designs!

– We truly live in the best of all possible worlds: Gorilla Grodd is coming to The Flash this season.

– Ryan Reynolds claims that the budget isn’t what they hoped, but that the Deadpool film is making itself “the right way,” whatever that means.

– And, finally, way to go citizens of San Francisco, using Ms. Marvel to combat hate.
