– If you could make an argument that one person’s opinion of “Man of Steel” matters above others, it’d be Mark Waid. The guy is the preeminent resource on all things Super and DC, and on Thrillbent’s site he shared his thoughts which he promptly caught a whirlwind of shit for. I love how in this day and age, people can get people pissed at them for their opinion on a damn movie. Calm down internet. His write-up is a good read, and I could see where he comes from on all points even if I don’t agree with all of them.

– Mark Millar was honored by Queen Elizabeth II as basically an epically badass Briton, as Grant Morrison was previously. He then made a joke about being a Sith. This part of The Rundown either explains why you think Millar is awesome or ridiculous. I think he’s both, but mostly awesome.

– Breaking Bad: The Animated Series. Okay, not really a thing, but it is a piece of art at Comics Alliance.
