Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.
– Charles Soule shares how exactly he does it. What is it, you may ask? Oh, you know, find time to write seven different titles AND run a law practice. Well worth a read, and finally we have an answer to one of comics greatest mysteries. I thought for sure clones were the answer, but we all knew Soule was too savvy for another damn clone saga.
– “Thanos: The Infinity Revelation” is a new OGN coming out from writer/artist Jim Starlin, doing that thing he does, which means cosmic comic magic from the man himself. If you’re into that sort of thing.
– Newsarama and CBR have received teasers for some sort of rather bloody wedding coming up at Marvel in April, in the form of individual teasers in the form of puzzle pieces that show a bevy of notable Marvel characters. Very intriguing, but doesn’t bode well for the tidings of whoever may be getting married!
– Stephen Wacker’s official last day as an editor of comics for Marvel was yesterday, as he heads to the West Coast to make magic happen in the world of animation. To Stephen, so long, and thanks for all the…really good comics you edited. Didn’t have much to do with fish, didja?
– Robot 6 gives all ya’ll a collection of looks at art from the upcoming Moon Knight, Ghost Rider, All-New Invaders and more, and I have to say, the future for Marvel is very bright indeed.
– Our boy Tim Daniel talks to CBR about all the hubbub surrounding his creator-owned property “Enormous” with artist Mehdi Cheggour, like the upcoming adaptation by Machinima and the continuation of the story in an ongoing series at 215Ink (with Multiversity’s Matthew Meylikhov lettering!). Yay Tim!
– Ready your nightmares! Tradd Moore shares a pin-up he created for the upcoming re-release of Joe Casey and Chris Burnham’s “Nixon’s Pals”, and if you don’t get a seizure, you might cry for your mommy.
– Bleeding Cool breaks down the 11 best graphic novels of 2013, perhaps most notable for many of them not actually being graphic novels. But, you know, Five Ghosts! Battling Boy! Young Avengers! Hawkeye! Good comics!
