– In news that’s sure to make Jess, James and I lose our goddamn minds, it looks like Marvel is teasing a sequel to “Civil War” coming in Spring 2016, with an image of David Marquez’s redesigned Iron Man slugging it out with Sam Wilson as Captain America. Seeing as “Civil War” is entering the MCU next year, Marvel using the comics to hype that up makes sense, but we also just had a sequel to “Civil War” as part “Secret Wars”. C’mon, Marvel.

– Ok, so this is kind of weird. As part of the marketing for Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice, there is now an official Twitter for the film’s version of Lex Luthor. And it’s only tweet links to a Fortune piece on the character that reveals that this Lex’s full name is Alexander Luthor Jr. This is actually kind of hilarious to me because in “Crisis On Infinite Earths”, Alexander Luthor Jr. is the only hero who can stand up to an oppressive and homicidal Justice League. Who knew the Man Of Steel of the title was actually Ultraman?

– Do you want to see Jim Lee and Dan Didio talk about “Dark Knight III” for 16 whole minutes? Well, now you can.

– This is awesome: ahead of NYCC, Dynamite has released details about it’s upcoming relaunch of its properties of Vampirella, Red Sonja and Dejah Thoris including redesigns by Nicola Scott and new writers like Marguerite Bennett and Kate Leth. Check that out.

– While the news that Transformers 5 is happening was maddeningly depressing, it wasn’t surprising. The news that Transformers 6, 7 and 8 are being planned, however, is not only surprising, but it makes me want to throw myself into the sun.

– “Clone”, the comic by David Schulner, Juan Jose Ryp and Felix Serrano, about a doctor who finds out he is just one of many clones is getting a television adaptation. Expect everyone you know to start comparing this to Orphan Black.

– Finally, in the coolest news ever: Valiant are going to be putting out a Bloodshot statue based on David Aja’s design. The statue will run in a very limited number and cost you $245, but just look at it. Isn’t it a beauty?

Sworn to protect a world that hates and fears her, Alice W. Castle is a trans femme writing about comics. All things considered, it’s going surprisingly well. Ask her about the unproduced Superman films of 1990 - 2006. She can be found on various corners of the internet, but most frequently on Twitter: @alicewcastle
