– Matt Kindt is going to be writing a 4 issue Star Wars miniseries for Dark Horse, illustrated by Marco Castiello. “Star Wars: Rebel Heist” will feature classic and new Star Wars characters, and seems to be a project Kindt is quite excited about.

He also announced in the same article that, after “Forever Evil” wraps in April, he will no longer be writing “Suicide Squad.” He said that time was simply not there to keep doing all that he was doing, and something had to give.

– Rapid fire DC movies/TV news and rumors: Could Denzel Washington play John Stewart in an upcoming DC film? Could Vibe pop up on The Flash? Is Gal Gadot too skinny to play Wonder Woman? Do successful Superman movies make a Shazam movie more difficult?

– Speaking of movies, does Fox have a Fantastic Four vs. X-Men movie in the works? This seems like a project that couldn’t get into theaters any earlier than 2020 (due to a lack of a Fantastic Four movie and the announced X-Men: Apocalypse film) or so, so don’t hold your breath, but it is an interesting idea.

– As is typical every now and then, Marvel has expanded trademarks for a bunch of properties, including Thunderbolts, Tales Of Suspense, Nova, Heroes For Hire, Hawkeye, Eternals, Drax The Destroyer, Daredevil, Black Widow and Defenders. What will come of these is unknown, but more Heroes for Hire is a very, very good thing.

– Empire Magazine has a look at the Captain America: The Winter Soldier costumes, and they look pretty fantastic.

– Adam Beechan talks to Bleeding Cool about writing the upcoming “Batman: Arkham Origins” DC2 digital comic.

– Stjepan Sejic has been doing some incredible stuff over at his deviantART page. Goodness gracious!

– And finally, on his 91st birthday, Stan Lee surpassed 1,000,000 Twitter followers – excelsior, true believer! ‘Nuff Said!
