Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at rundown@multiversitycomics.com.

– First up, with Avengers: Age Of Ultron but a fleeting moment in the rear view mirror of life, it seems like it’s time for Marvel to ramp up the hype for it’s new game-changing movie… Ant-Man. Yeah, as much as I like pretty much all of the components involved, I’m not exactly excited for this movie. Over at CBR you can find three new stills from the movie released by Marvel ahead of the film’s feature in the next Empire Magazine.
– You know what I can’t believe? I can’t believe we’re getting three X-Men movies next year. Know what else I can’t believe? That one of those films is going to be Gambit with Channing Tatum. Still, it seems like it’s really happening and over at Comicbookmovie.com there’s an interview that Tatum had with Empire Magazine about preparing for the film. Interesting stuff, even if I’m still in disbelief that this whole thing is happening.
– Yikes, it looks like a cat has been let out of the bag as a video interview with Tyler James Williams or The Walking Dead has shown him implying that Jaden Smith (son of Big Willie) is linked to an adaptation of “Static Shock”. A full look at what this means can be found over at CBR, but I think this could be cool if it does come true.
– This is a video of Alan Moore discussing H.P. Lovecraft. Watch it now before the Eldritch Fishmen get you.
– And this is an interview Chuck Palahniuk did with Bleeding Cool talking about how he adapted his form as a writer to write the “Fight Club 2” comic book. Interesting stuff.
– I won’t say much about this as I have a limited amount of space, but ComicsAlliance took a look at why and what it meant when Denver Comic Con had a ‘Women In Comics’ panel without any female panellists. This stuff needs to stop happening.
– To end on a lighter note, though, you can now buy Spider-Gwen hoodies. Now, if anyone really appreciates the hard work I put into this site then you can send one to [ADDRESS REDACTED BY EDITOR].
