– So, the latest issue of the Empire magazine, a UK film magazine, will be covering Suicide Squad pretty extensive it seems. This includes a cover shot of Jared Leto’s Joker, more stills from the movie in all it’s desaturated glory and more snippets of story and characters from interviews with the actors and director David Ayer. Personally, I’m still not hype at all for this movie, but I’m sure some of you will find this of interest.

– In today’s “I can’t tell if this is real of a really early/late April Fool’s joke” news, there’s been a report that Doctor Who’s K-9 will be getting a feature film in 2017. For those of you who don’t know about K-9, he’s a robot dog that talks. That’s… yeah, that’s about it. And he’s getting a movie, apparently? Because… yeah. I got nothin’.

– Just in time for tonight’s premier of Supergirl comes the report that Henry Czerny will be a part of the show as the Toyman villain. Whether they can make Toyman a compelling villain (hopefully without resorting to a very lazy bout of “he’s just a pedophile”) is something that I’m very interested in seeing.

– This Wednesday you’ll be able to get Batman: Arkham Knight on Steam! Again. Because, you know, it already came out and was a broken mess. Well, more of a broken mess in that not only was the story pretty bad, but the game wasn’t playable either. So if you’ve somehow not just saved up the money for a PS4 or Xbox One to play it on and somehow haven’t had the entire game spoiled for you, you’ll finally be able to experience it this Wednesday on PC.

– Finally, Beyonce dressed up as Storm for Ciara’s birthday. Repeat, Beyonce dressed up as Storm. That’s it, that’s the news story. What more do you need?

Sworn to protect a world that hates and fears her, Alice W. Castle is a trans femme writing about comics. All things considered, it’s going surprisingly well. Ask her about the unproduced Superman films of 1990 - 2006. She can be found on various corners of the internet, but most frequently on Twitter: @alicewcastle
