Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email me at david.h@multiversitycomics.com.

– Good news, everyone! This week at CinemaCon it was confirmed by Disney that they will be producing a new Star Wars film every year starting from Episode VIII in Summer 2015. I’m… not sure to react to that, actually. The idea seems to be to alternate the new trilogy with standalone films which should hopefully alleviate stagnation. Here’s hoping.
– Yesterday, CBR published their final B&B column where they talked to DC E-I-C Bob Harras and Editorial Director Bobbie Chase about current events at DC. Apparently DC was unwilling to discuss some pertinent topics regarding creator issues and the like. I don’t really have much to say about this, I just wanted to point out DC’s behavior in addressing certain things.
– Speaking of DC stuff, Newsarama has a rundown (heh) of GameInformer’s coverage of the new game Batman: Arkham Origins. It seems that as opposed to telling another origin for Batman that the game will tells the origins of the relationships like between Bruce Wayne and Alfred and between Bruce Wayne and Oswald Cobblepot. As a fan of both previous games, I’ll most likely pick this up too.
– For those of you who are interested in the life stories of comics legends (and even if you aren’t), you should all check out Bleeding Cool’s coverage of the Spotlight On Jim Steranko panel from Wondercon. Some great stuff.
