Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– While they do not quote any actual numbers, of give the name of a source, Rich Johnston at Bleeding Cool claims that “Ms. Marvel” has sold more copies digitally than in print. This is unusual for a number of reasons (mainly because the print run has been so successful – the first issue goes to sixth printing this week), but is a heartening sign of what the future can bring.

– The New York Times took a look at some of the financial numbers behind San Diego Comic Con, specifically the amount of money the average guest spends there, which is on the low side, in terms of what convention guests in other fields tend to spend. The article has been pretty well refuted across the internet today, but it is asking questions that are important, even if the results aren’t derived correctly.

– There is a new Red Band trailer for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, and while it looks very similar, stylistically, to the first Sin City film, I could not be less excited for the film. I honestly don’t know why, as I really enjoyed the first film.

– “Batman: Arkham Knight” will have playable adventures from both Harley Quinn and Jason Todd. This is, reportedly, the last game in the Rocksteady Bat-series, so smoke ’em if you’ve got ’em, folks.

– And, finally, this is Comics Week at the A.V. Club, one of the finest pop culture websites out there. They kicked it off today with an interview with Becky Cloonan called “Firsties,” which deals with her firsts in the comics world. It is well worth a read, and the rest of the week looks like it should be of a similar quality.
