Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– In what can be seen as a vote of confidence for the as-yet-unaired Constantine, NBC has ordered three more scripts, ahead of the show’s late October debut. This is often a way for the network to put the wheels in motion, inexpensively, to better evaluate a series without ordering a full season’s order.
– As if the art team of Nick Dragotta, Tradd Moore, Dan McDaid, Jim Mahfood, Michel Fiffe, and Benjamin Marra wasn’t excited enough, Dynamite offered another, ahem, dynamite, name to the art list: Grant Morrison. Yup – you probably want to pre-order it.
– The first poster for the upcoming Powers television show has been released, and if a poster can convey a tone, I would say the tone seems to fit the comics quite well.
– “Spawn,” one of the longest running books on the shelves, is set to get a new creative team as of February: Brian Wood and Jonboy Meyers. The upcoming 250th issue will also feature a cover from former “Spawn”/current “Batman” artist Greg Capullo.
– David Mack’s “Kabuki” will be getting the deluxe hardcover treatment from Dark Horse, which also released the book digitally as of yesterday.
– Some of Hasbro’s exclusives from NYCC have started to leak out, including some pretty sweet Marvel and Star Wars figures.
– Archie’s Dark Circle line got a teaser image today, courtesy of Franceso Francavilla, showcasing the Fox, the Shield, and the Black Hood.
– And, finally – speaking of Archie, two of their licensed properties are getting a crossover made in 1994 heaven: Mega Man and Sonic the Hedgehog will meet in 2015’s “Worlds Unite” event.
