– There has been a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in joy after seeing the first full trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. God, this trailer is a masterclass in how to create hype. Building on the two previous trailers, we get to see only a little bit more detail into the characters of Rey, Fin and Poe Dameron and the journey they take in the film while getting to know a little bit more about Kylo Ren, but the larger picture remains mostly obfuscated. Sprinkle on top of that hints at how fantastic the dog fights look now and the kind of action we can expect to see in the film with a little bit of Han Solo teasing and you have one of the best trailers I’ve ever seen. December, here I come.

– Okay, fine, I guess I can’t have a Rundown with just one entry. Also released yesterday was the first poster and first trailer for the X-Files revival. Which is cool for people who weren’t traumatised by that show as child, unlike me.
– Also pretty cool is that we’ve finally gotten our first look at the Inhuman Lashas portrayed on Agents Of SHIELD. I haven’t kept up with AOS since halfway through the second season so I have no idea what’s going on with this guy, but he looks like a Guillermo Del Toro monster and I am all about that.
– This is actually kind of hilarious. So Fox & Friends, a daily morning talk show that airs on Fox News, took some umbridge with the first issue of Nick Spencer and Daniel Acuna’s “Captain America: Sam Wilson” series. See, Spencer and Acuna had Sam Wilson, who is black, go up against the Sons Of The Serpent, who are basically a snake-themed KKK-inspired racial hate group, as they were forcing the deportation of Mexican-born Americans. Now, the umbridge Fox & Friends has taken with the issue is they have somehow interpreted as an attack on conservatives. Meaning that they align themselves with a fictional racial hate group. You can’t make this shit up, folks.
– Finally, in brighter news, check out this clip of the next episode of The Flash that shows just how far that show is going with it’s multiverse angle and yet how it’s able to bring it’s lighthearted and charming quality to it. This show continues to be amazing.
