– Joe Casey and Chris Burnham’s “Officer Downe”, a rather violent and crazy cop comic, is going to be adapted into a live action film at Living Out Loud Films. Casey’s going to write the script, and it will be directed by Slipknot member M. Shawn Crahan of all people. The fact that Casey’s writing it bodes well in my opinion, but seeing that the director is a guy most notable for directing Slipknot music videos (and starring in them as a member) is the opposite of inspiring.

This piece by colorist Nathan Fairbairn is extremely interesting and introduces an aspect of coloring I never really thought of: the difference between RGB and CMYK, and the restrictions print has on comic colors. It’s well worth a read, and Fairbairn’s gifs do a hell of a job in showing off the difference between the two.

– Apparently Marvel is announcing something new on The View today, because that’s where you announce things if you make comic books. Or something like that.

– The Shreveport times has a pretty cool little feature on “Chew” artist Rob Guillory, and it’s great to see them highlight an area guy who has done well.

– Chris Evans and Chris Pratt had a sassfest during the Super Bowl between their rival teams, the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks respectively, and amidst that, they managed to generate $27,000 in donations to charities thanks to their hilarious and handsome antics. Well done, gentlemen.

– Actor Luke Mitchell is joining the cast of “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” as a new Inhuman named Lincoln who helps out Skye with her new powers, and I’m sure does handsome guy things as well.
