Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– Axel Alonso continues to tease the crazy beautiful Elektra series with peeks into Mike Del Mundo’s art, and if you haven’t decided to buy this book, the art may convince you otherwise. This is going to be the best looking comic around, in all likelihood.
– Official images for The Penguin and Alfred are out for the upcoming “Gotham” TV show so, you know, go take a look if that’s a thing you want to see.
– What would Francis Manapul have done on Flash if he stayed on the book? Bleeding Cool shared some notes he had, and if you were a fan of his run, you can wonder what might have been when you take a look.
– In case you’re looking for a little something extra in your beer, Dock Street Brewing Co. has made a “Walker” beer as a tribute to “The Walking Dead” that features…brains. Roasted goat brains to be exact, plus cranberries. Quite the blend, and if you’re looking to try it out, I’d love to hear your thoughts on it!
– Randomly and awesomely, there’s a documentary coming out about cartoonist Bryan Talbot, and the Beat has the story (and a trailer for it). Check it out!
– Fellow comic journo Dave Scheidt is putting together a sweet looking fan zine tribute to the Alien Quadrilogy called Xinemorph, with artists like Tyler Crook, Ryan Browne, Steve Seeley and more contributing. If you’re a big Alien fan, this cleverly named book may be a great pick up for a cool $6 at Doctor Worm Comics. Check it out.
