Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.
– Apparently the cast of “Avengers: Age of Ultron” is coming to San Diego Comic Con (surprise, surprise!), as revealed in a chat Collider had with Mark Ruffalo, in which Ruffalo further reveals how well he gets the Hulk (in short: he gets him a whole damn lot).
– Why should you be buying Joe Keatinge and Leila del Duca’s “Shutter” in single issues, besides the fact it’s one of the best comics around? del Duca walks readers through the specific perks of the single issue experience on the Tumblr. Listen to her advice, my friends.
– Jon Favreau supposedly left Marvel in relatively acrimonious fashion like Edgar Wright did, and after a month or so after Wright’s departure, Favreau comments on that move from his perspective.
– In a hilarious bit of life imitating art, there will now be a registration act of sorts for those who dress up as superheroes (and other characters) around the Times Square area of New York City after multitudes of complaints of inappropriate behavior there.
– The secret to Cable is apparently very, very silly, but the good news is Rob Liefeld was all over the idea before it was cool. Or…you know, before it was real.
