– DC is launching a new, digital-first comic based off their video game version of “Infinite Crisis” come May. Sound convoluted? It is, but it is written by Dan Abnett, so it has that going for it.
– The Nominees for Cartoonist of the Year for the Reuben Awards, have been announced.
– Marvel is running an hour-long TV special called “Marvel Studios: Assembling a Universe” on March 18, and it promises footage from the three upcoming Marvel films – yup, even Age of Ultron.
– In addition to their already announced variant themes of Robot Chicken and Batman ’66, DC will reportedly have a month featuring John Romita, Jr. covers. That could be fun.
– Dan DiDio, when talking about the third DC weekly, mentioned a number of new series launching in June and July. C’mon, Shazam!
– Dave Dorman is publishing a second book of his work for Hasbro on the G.I. Joe line. I know what to get Chad Bowers for Christmas now!
– And finally, President Obama teases…Iron Man?
