– Apparently Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming’s “Powers” is going to be revived as a TV product…of sorts…as it was revealed that it is set to become the first original scripted show on the Sony Playstation. The show will be recast, but the main players are much the same as Circle of Confusion continues to develop it. I have to say, I am just blown away that this is a viable option. It seems like this is a niche of a niche, and even more of a finite audience than what we’ve seen on Netflix series. But what the hell do I know. I’m just a guy writing about it. Either way, congrats go out to Bendis and Oeming, and I hope they get to see this happen. For my money, this is a comic that really, truly fits the idea of adaptations, and I hope it goes well for all involved.

– This interview Playboy did with Stan Lee is actually a really candid, interesting read, even touching on his relationship with Jack Kirby before he died and Steve Ditko as it currently is, and the disparity between how they’re perceived and he’s perceived. Well worth a read, but you know…partially naked ladies.

– It’s official: Dan Didio, Bob Harras, Eddie Berganza and Shelley Bond will be amongst the upper level staff at DC who will be moving to the West Coast when the big switch hits. It seemed unlikely that Didio or Harras would go anywhere, but Berganza and Bond sticking around is big news as they’ve been losing good people on their level lately with Mike Marts and Will Moss migrating recently.

– As Devin Faraci ably points out, this Nerd HQ IndieGoGo crowd-sourced fundraiser is an epic, steaming pile of garbage. A MILLION dollars? To fund your event? And you get on a newsletter for your support? Wow. As much as I liked “Chuck” and Flynn Rider, just go sell out to Xyience or something Zachary Levi. I hope no one supports that.

– Major props: I love that Marvel is doing this. Getting more forward with retailers, and retailers on customers, is something I think is important, and something I hope to see more often.

– So “The Walking Dead” is going to Fox, but not really Fox, but MyNetworkTV, a weird sounding thing that Fox owns. And it’s not the real, true version of “The Walking Dead”, but rebroadcasts of old episodes. So…neat? Sloppy seconds! Woo!

– Finally, have you never read Hellboy but always wanted to? You can get EVERY SINGLE HELLBOY COMIC digitally for only $50. That is a real thing you just read. Do it now you insane person. Do it now, and do it hard.
