Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email me at david@multiversitycomics.com.

– Proving once again that the upcoming Pretty Deadly from Kelly Sue DeConnick and Emma Rios is going to be freaking awesome, they have even created a pre-order form for all you kind folks to use. All you have to do is print it out, fill out the salient details, then deliver it to your local comic book shop sometime before August 18th to ensure that it is in their order. Can we say this enough? ORDER THIS BOOK. They even made it easy for you.

– Guy Davis is an epic badass of all things art, particularly with monsters, and to prove that, check out his concept art that he did for Pacific Rim over at Robot 6. You’re going to find this shocking, but it’s amazing, and it makes me want to buy the book that showcases it badly.

– Just in case you need more of Chris Hardwick annoying you about the AMC shows you enjoy, evidently they’re going to follow the success of “Talking Dead” up with a talk show about “Breaking Bad” called – appropriately – “Talking Bad.” I will now light myself on fire, and not because of some sort of meth/chemical related deal.

– Hey look! CBR has a preview of Greg Pak and Trevor Hairsine’s “Eternal Warrior” #1.

– Finally, in case you missed it, two comic book movies (well, sort of in RED 2’s case) bombed in the box office this past weekend, as “RED 2” opened at #5 with just over $18 million and “R.I.P.D.” epically failed at #7 with over $12 million ($120 million budget!!!). In case you’re wondering, it’s a bad idea to open a comic book movie when San Diego Comic Con is going. Announcing, yes. Opening, no.
