– Remember that news about a Riverdale TV show, y’know the TV show that would adapt “Archie” comics in a dark and serious way? The one that I was convinced was a parody of Gotham? Well, CBR has a look at some of the casting descriptions for the main characters and… they’re pretty much as weird as you’d expect. The muscular, football-playing Archie isn’t too far out of left field, but Adderall-using Betty? Emo heartthrob Jughead? This sounds like a recipe for disaster already and I’m wondering why they don’t just crib notes from Mark Waid and Fiona Staples.

– Over on Supergirl is the news that Tawny Cypress has been cast as a Senator with an anti-alien agenda, which should be interesting and I wonder if this means that the DEO in the show will be exposed to the public. Also, I haven’t seen Tawny Cypress in anything since Heroes Season One, so that should be a trip.

– I was always incredibly impressed by how The Flash was able to make Reverse-Flash’s yellow costume feel intimidating on the show because… well, yellow. But seeeing pictures of Zoom’s full costume is giving me the chills. That’s some Black Flash shit right there.

– Oh, yeah, and, uh… Lucifer got a poster. It’s… well, it’s a poster, I guess, but it’s not exactly a good one.

– Speaking of posters, the Warcraft movie revealed its posters ahead of todays’s trailer reveal. They look exactly the same as the Force Awakens posters. It’s kind of hilarious.

– Finally, and speaking of The Force Awakens, there was a campaign this past couple of weeks for terminal ill Star Wars fan, Daniel, to be able to see the new movie before he passed away. Well, the good news is that he was able to see an unedited version of the new film before anyone else thanks to a massive social media campaign. Sometimes there really is good in the world.
