– I’m going to be totally honest: I have no idea what is going on in this cover to DC’s “Future’s End” #1. That said, it is awesome. Completely so, and a great example of just how ridiculously amazing Ryan Sook is. Give that man all the Eisners!

– Gail Simone is set to write an arc of “Savage Wolverine” with a current TBA artist, and that’s the second job she’s taken with Marvel in recent months. I have to wonder if she’s going to keep taking more work with them, and I personally hope so. I think she has an exceptional voice that would fit on one of Marvel’s mid-tier books like “Hawkeye” or “She-Hulk”. Of course, not saying she should take over one of those, but to do her own one along those lines.

– Comics Alliance has an exclusive look at two covers for “The Wicked and the Divine” #1 from Jamie McKelvie and Matt Wilson, and these things are freaking gorgeous. You have to check them out.

– Robert Kirkman is becoming even more of a multi-hyphenate, as he’s set to produce an upcoming sci-fi film titled “Air”, which is going to star “The Walking Dead” actor Norman Reedus and Djimon Hounsou. I have to wonder if at a certain point this is going to start impacting his writing, but time will tell.

– Caliber Comics, formerly the home of creators like Brian Michael Bendis and Ed Brubaker, is returning after an extended absence, although in a slightly different capacity than before. Robot 6 has the full details.
