– San Diego Comic Con has been acting under the idea that they were going to get relief in the form of a $520 expansion of the San Diego Convention Center space sooner rather than later, but now, after an appeals court ruled this funding via a 1 to 3 cent room tax on hotels was “unconstitutional”, it’s in jeopardy. Robot 6 has a story about how Sept. 10th is the cut off for appealing that decision, and it very well could decide the future of CCI in San Diego going forward.

– This is all kinds of perfect: Clancy Brown is set to have a recurring role as General Wade Eiling, aka The General, in “The Flash” starting with episode five. The General is an awesome villain, and Brown is a scary perfect fit.

– Nerdist exclusively reveals the covers to “Superman: Earth One Volume Three” and “Batman: Earth One Volume Two”, and believe me when I say they are moody.

– Zainab Akhtar shares her favorite comics of 2014 so far, and if you’re looking for comics of a high quality to read, I’d recommend checking out her list.

– Entertainment Weekly’s Shelf Life has a feature about Marvel’s revamp of Moon Knight in the hands of Warren Ellis, Declan Shalvey and Jordie Bellaire, and it’s a pretty nice post-mortem on the book.

– This is a real thing that now exists: Marvel has opened an Instagram account for Marvel related fashion. It’s called “Styled by Marvel.”
