Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

“I think the script is dark and it’s dry,” says Johansson. “It’s got this amazing one-liner, glass-cutting sense of humour.”
Dark and dry…but also has quite the sense of humor? Yesss…this something we can get behind. If you had to put all of your money on a comic movie being good, it would be this one, and the things we keep hearing from the camp involved is nothing but positive. That’s a good sign, and, this goes without saying, we’re very excited for that movie.
– Remember that Wonder Woman TV show that maybe was going to happen? “Amazon” from the CW? Well, it’s not anymore, as the CW shared that they will not be going forward with the project. Ol’ Diana just can’t catch a break.
– Ron Ron is getting a spin off! Apparently a Veronica Mars spin-off show is coming to a screen of some variety near year, as the CW is planning a show starring someone or something from the original show, maybe for their online video site, Seed. So it’s a Veronica Mars spin-off…that might involve characters from the show…or might not…that may not involve Rob Thomas. So. You know. It’s basically a show taking place in Neptune with young people pretty much. Looking forward to finding out more, but this baby is THIN!
– Our little guy is all growns up! Our boy Christopher Sebela, raconteur and coffee enthusiast, has a new Boom! Studios series coming out titled “Dead Letters” with art from Chris Visions. You should go read about it and then pre-order it, because that Sebela guy? He’s good stuff.
– Declan Shalvey unveiled the cover to Moon Knight #2 on Twitter, and you guys, that is a beautiful thing. Spoiler alert: you’re going to want to buy this book.
– Rob Guillory shared on Twitter that Chew is having a one-shot, one-issue crossover with another Image book, which should be VERY interesting. No real clue what it is (besides Batman), but here’s hoping it’s Image United. That’d be some next level shit right there.
– A new DC animated movie is sneaking into prominent film retailers around the world January 21st with almost no lead-in, as “JLA Adventures: Trapped in Time” is coming very, very soon. I’m not going to pretend to know anything about this, but I have liked some of DC’s animated offerings. Support!
– The Complete 1960’s Batman TV show is coming to your homes (if you want it to, it’s not compulsory) in 2014, as the Adam West starring show will finally get a release on Blu Ray/DVD/whatever you want to buy it in this year. Brandon Burpee, that one is all you buddy.
