Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email me at david@multiversitycomics.com.

– A new issue of the Eisner-nominated “Bandette” is out, but not only that, there’s a free story as well! This one comes from series writer Paul Tobin and artist Mitch Gerads (replacing Colleen Coover in just the free issue), and focuses on the character Matadori! Yay free! Yay Mitch! Yay Bandette!
– On top of Ales Kot leaving “Suicide Squad,” it looks like Jeff Lemire is off “Justice League Dark” too.
– The New York Post has a sneak peek at Shadowman #11, a Halloween themed issue, with an interview with the writer who is writing said issue – Jim Zubkavich!
– Holy shit you guys, Michael Walsh’s covers to the upcoming “Sect War” event at Valiant are freaking AWESOME. Check them out at the bottom of this Fred Van Lente interview at CBR.
