Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.
– Jeff Smith’s Boneville website has relaunched with a MUCH improved redesign that, in particular, makes it easier to read his webcomic Tuki, Save the Humans. So if you were looking for a reason to read Tuki besides the fact IT IS A JEFF SMITH COMIC, then you now have it. But seriously, you should be reading it. It’s fantastic.
– I missed this before, but Amazing Spider-Man #1 surpassing 500,000 in sales? That’s freaking amazing, and good for everyone involved.
– The 2013 Reuben Award nominees have been announced, and what a deserving bunch. Take a look at the list at Robot 6.
– What’s this? Multiversity favorite Sarah DeLaine is providing a (beautiful) variant cover to Enormous #3 from our good friends Tim Daniel and Mehdi Cheggour? That, my friends, is a match made in heaven.
– Finally, I am absolutely stealing this from Reddit, but Ulises Farinas’ response to a critic of his art is pretty much amazing.
