Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– Apparently an “announcement to end all announcements” is coming January 20th from Marvel in regards to “Secret Wars”, and I’m not sure what it could be, but maybe some details about the areas of Battleworld that went unidentified on the map? Or, more likely, maybe an official announcement about the reboot or soft reboot or relaunch that people seem to think is coming after it. We’ll see then.
– “ODY-C” artist Christian Ward walks readers through his color process on his Tumblr, and it’s well worth a look behind the way he brings his art to life.
– Scholastic and Bloomsbury UK are releasing fully illustrated versions of the Harry Potter novels with art by artist Jim Kay, and the first look at them is quite nice. I may have to go back for another run at those books after that look.
– Congrats to Ryan K. Lindsay and Eric Zawadski, as their book “Headspace” (previously published through Monkeybrain) will be published in print at IDW. Very cool news.
– Chris Eckert looks back at Wizard’s Twelve Sexiest Moments in Comics, and it’s both funny and kind of disgusting. I used to love Wizard, but my god, that feature was hot garbage. No wonder people think comic fans are terrified and befuddled by women.
