Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– Holy “Spider-Gwen variant”, Jamie McKelvie! The artist of “The Wicked + The Divine” goes down the homage road for his variant cover for Third Eye Comics and yeesh, is that thing pretty. Clever stuff by McKelvie.
– There are few things I find more dumb than teasers of trailers, but I must admit, I am pretty amped for “Daredevil” so I’ll give that one a pass.
– Is Mike Carey already working on a new book post “The Unwritten”? Perhaps, and it may be called “Highest House” if this tweet means what we think it does.
– This new Catwoman statue from the WB Shop deeply disturbs me for several reasons, not the least of which being she’s seemingly threatening us with an STD.
– The Atlantic has a piece on the broad, inclusive canvas of comics and how comics are this relative bastion of inclusivity and diversity. The piece got some serious buzz yesterday, but I found it to be pretty thin and unfounded despite some nice personal insight from the writer.
