Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at rundown@multiversitycomics.com.

– IDW & DC Comics are going to release an anthology called “Love is Love”, a 144 page collection of stories revolving around LGBTQ topics by comic veterans like Oliver Coipel & Phil Jimenez alongside mainstream celebrities like Patton Oswald & Damon Lindelof. The comic will cost $9.99 but all proceeds go to a fund to assist victims or the family of victims from the Pulse shooting in Orlando. Comics can be a tiring thing to write about, but this is a great project helmed by Marc Andrekyo coming to you this December.
– DC Comics Chadwick Boseman spoke about Black Panther with Yahoo and said that the movie will focus on the character’s origins. I know that seems really obvious but Civil War left open the possibility that it would turn into a team-up with Winter Soldier and I’m very happy we’re not going to lose focus on T’Challa and Wakanda for Tumblr’s first husband.
– Excited for Netflix’s next Marvel show? Netflix uploaded a Luke Cage recap to catch you up on the character’s history. Because media’s at that point in 2016 where we need recaps before the show even premieres.
– I watched Gotham for the first time this week and everything about that hour has been insane. Spoilers but it ended with a young future Poison Ivy getting attacked by some monster dude who artificially ages people up and getting thrown into a pipe drain. Apparently, the producers decided to age up Poison Ivy was because they wanted to let Ivy use her seduction powers without it being weird. So now we have a fourteen year-old in a mature woman’s body seducing adults with her newly found seduction powers. Everyone should simultaneously be watching Gotham and ignoring everything about it.
– Apparently the plot to Avengers: Infinity War leaked and it’s there if you want to read it. Feel free to click that if you want to complain about how predictable the movie you read spoilers for turns out to be.
