Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– Sina Grace talks the costumes guest artists like Fiona Staples and Ming Doyle designed for his characters in “Burn the Orphanage: Reign of Terror” over at Comics Should Be Good, and it’s a cool piece that shows how much thought and feeling Grace puts into his work. Really cool stuff.

– Could Rocket Raccoon #1 move over 300,000 units? That’s what Bleeding Cool will have you believe, although I have to admit, that seems fairly far fetched to me. Hopefully it’s legit though, as that speaks to the power of Skottie Young and one foul mouthed raccoon.

Could I interest you in a sci-fi short film by Paul Pope?

– Comics Alliance covers the mess left behind by Graphicly, as in the wake of them closing up their shop, a number of comic creators were never paid for their books selling through their platform.

– Oni Press hired Tim Weisch as their new VP of Business Development, after five years working in foreign licensing for Dark Horse Comics. Congrats, Tim!
