Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email me at david.h@multiversitycomics.com.

– This week really is Superman week in terms of comic book news as yesterday the big blue boy scout turned 75. April 18 was of course the 75th anniversary of “Action Comics” #1 and CBR has an interview with long-time Superman writer and artist Dan Jurgens on the legacy of the character. It’s a real interesting read.
– Also, Newsarama has a really sweet infographic on the history of Superman. Definitely one to check out. And also over at CBR is Mark Waid’s ultimate Superman quiz. Even I got nothing on it.
– Yesterday also came with the sad news that Robert Morales, probably most well known for his series “Truth: Red, White & Black” with Kyle Baker, passed away. It’s always sad when a comic creator passes away and as a fan of his work, I know my thoughts will be with his family.
– There’s an interview over at Newsarama with Gary Frank where he talks about his work with Geoff Johns on the Shazam back-ups to “Justice League” and promises more “Batman: Earth One” and that DC has more plans for Shazam. One to check out.
