– According to a survey, more than half the people who attended this year’s Emerald City ComiCon were women. It’s a very cool bit of news, and while it certainly suffers from what many other surveys do – small sample size, not everyone filled out surveys, etc. – it is still very cool news. As someone who went to ECCC this year, I can assure you it was packed with women. More than half being women? Maybe not, but hey! Positive movement!

– Chip Zdarsky recolors the new Batman suit, and I’m not going to lie, it’s pretty great and a big improvement. Very Zur En Arrh!

– Speaking of the new suit, Dean Trippe compares the logos of it and “The Dark Knight Returns” (which everyone is comparing the costume to), and the differences are striking.

– Could the next “Star Trek” be directed by screenwriter Roberto Orci? It seems it’s possible, even though he’s never directed a movie before. Seems like a bold strategy, but what do I know about making movies?

– And the early leader for the biggest “WTF?” moment of the week definitely goes to “All-New X-Men” #27 from tomorrow. Bleeding Cool looks at it, but don’t look if you fear spoilers.

– Want a free copy of “Knuckleheads: Fist Copy” AND a $50 Amazon gift card? You could win that very easily! They are doing a giveaway on the “Knuckleheads” Facebook page, and it’s very easy to enter. Get on that!
