Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email me at david@multiversitycomics.com.

– Looking forward to Jason Aaron and Simone Bianchi’s “Thanos Rising?” If so, I bet this picture from Jason Aaron’s Facebook page gets you moreso. If not, you probably don’t realize how perfect for the character Aaron is and how, finally, Bianchi has likely found a perfectly suited project for his skills. What a killer image of the Mad Titan. Those thigh seams are hilarious though.

– Comics Alliance has an exclusive first look at Greg Rucka and Michael Lark’s “Lazarus,” a new series from Image Comics. It looks incredible.

Please continue reading once you’ve recovered from dying from shock.

– On Twitter yesterday, Sean Gordon Murphy gave readers an early look at his process piece for the first MASSIVE cover to The Wake, his upcoming Vertigo project with Scott Snyder. It looks outstanding, even in its clearly in progress state.

He also told us on Twitter yesterday that he’s going to be Kickstarting a Punk Rock Jesus process/sketchbook soon, so our cup runneth over with awesome Murphy materials, soon.

– DC revealed the lineups for the upcoming special issues of “Batman and Robin,” as with Robin dead, it’s hard to pair him up with a very much alive Batman. Thankfully, for at least five issues his friends in Red Robin, Red Hood, Batgirl, Catwoman and Nightwing will be joining for the not likely to be fun party. Thankfully, it’s Peter Tomasi and Patrick Gleason, so it will likely be good.

– Over at Bleeding Cool, they talk about how Robert Kirkman is apparently developing a new comic/TV show (because Kirkman touch = Midas touch), and it’s apparently involving exorcism and the end of the world. It seems like Kirkman is in a lot of pies right now, and as much as I enjoy pie, I wish he’d focus on recapturing the awesome in Invincible. Ryan Ottley can only do so much.

– Finally, lololololololololololololololol.
