Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– I thought this was classy: Marvel remembered Jack Kirby for Veteran’s Day, as his son Neal shared military photos and stories from his time in the service. That’s a really great way to commemorate the new deal the family made with Marvel.
– Soon enough, “The Flash” will basically be the Firestorm show, as now Luc Roderique has been cast as Jason Rusch as part of the F.I.R.E.S.T.O.R.M. project. Set to debut in the 10th episode, it’s yet another interesting addition to the cast.
– Marian Churchland shared some costume designs for the upcoming “From Under Mountains” from Image and it’s looking pretty, pretty good I have to say.
– Jim McLauchlin talks with John Layman, Ron Marz and others as he pursues an answer as to what’s wrong with comic book journalism. While I don’t agree with the overall idea that comic journalism is universally in such a bad state – there are good sites and writers and bad ones – there are a few good things to take away from the piece if you’re someone who fancies themselves a comic journalist. It is a bit funny that Newsarama is running such a piece, but you know. Them’s the breaks.
– Tommy Lee Edwards’ cover to “Batman Eternal” #36 is frankly unbelievable. Holy hell, what a fine piece of work.
– If Joe Casey, Michel Fiffe, Kyle Starks and Drew Johnson want to put together a “Wild Dog” book like Dylan Todd suggests, I’d be game.
