Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– The Batgirl of Burnside Tumblr that is collecting Batgirl fan art is frankly unbelievable, both for the outrageous quality of art AND for the sheer amount of art that is coming out so fast. DC COMICS! PAY ATTENTION! THIS IS HOW YOU CONNECT WITH YOUR AUDIENCE!

– Oh, hey! Do you want a first look at “Wytches” from Scott Snyder and Jock? Of course you do. Because it looks amazing. You should look at it at Entertainment Weekly right now. RIGHT NOW.

– Doctor Who’s eighth season gets another trailer, and this one is a little bit longer and ERMAGHERD ERMAGHERD ERMAGHERD DOCTOR WHOOOO. Sorry. I love me some Doctor Who, and Doctor Capaldi seems like it will be a very fascinating turn for the series.

– “Neverboy” is a new Dark Horse Comics series coming from the killer trio of Shaun Simon, Tyler Jenkins and Kelly Fitzpatrick, and it’s yet another March 2015 launch at DH. What a crazy month for them that’s going to be, and for us as readers!

– Sean Murphy gives an update on Cafe Racer, and the apprenticeship program it stemmed from, sharing that three of the five artists in his program now have placement for work at big publishers like Marvel or Boom! He also shared that the next session will be in the summer of 2015, so if you’re an artist looking for guidance from one of the best, Sean’s apprenticeship quite likely is a fantastic option.

– Do you skateboard and love Rick Remender and Wes Craig’s “Deadly Class”? If so, Inverse might have the deck for you, as they are selling a limited edition (only 100 made) featuring the cover art to #6 for $70. Get on it as soon as you can if this interests you, as you may miss out for good if you don’t.

– Jakeem Thunder is coming back to DC Comics, or at least that’s what the cover to “The Multiversity” #3 leads us to believe.

– Neil Craig, the man who opened Glasgow’s first comic shop, has passed away at 59. Very sad news, and Mark Millar has some very kind things to say in his write-up.

– Finally, Clydene Nee is the woman who helped save Artist Alley at San Diego Comic Con, and she could use everyone’s help due to significant health issues. See how you can help at Bleeding Cool, and if you can, please do contribute.
