Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– Ok, see if you can follow this. On this season of Arrow, we are being introduced the Barry Allen – the man who will, eventually, become the Flash. The original idea was to introduce Allen in a two-parter mid-way through the season, and then do a “backdoor pilot” later in the season. Well, the CW is so excited about the Flash show that they are changing the backdoor pilot to a full-fledged one. This is, apparently, very good news for the show’s chances of being picked up. Also, the first images of Grant Gustin as Barry Allen have been released.
– The Fantastic Four’s costumes are going from blue and white to red and black when James Robinson and Leonard Kirk take over their book in February. Take a look at them here.
– An enormous congratulations to our pals Tim Daniel and Mehdi Cheggour on the news that their graphic novel/upcoming ongoing “Enormous” has been optioned to be a digital series from Machinima. Mazel Tov, boys!
– The “Preacher” show seems even more likely now. Start getting excited, folks.
– Newsarama tries to figure out who will be the new Robin – our money is still on Carrie Kelly, as unexciting as that sounds.
– Over at his website, Tom Scioli talks a little about the “Godland” finale, which has been delayed a few weeks, but will be released on December 11.
– The just announced DC Comics move to Burbank is reportedly happening in April 2015.
– If the makers of the pilot vow to not air it, “Locke & Key” might still become a feature film.
– First Second has been getting some fanmail from young kids about Paul Pope and “Battling Boy” – this is heartwarming and cool.
– And finally, because we can’t go a day without talking about the Superman/Batman film, DC has expanded its trademark on the name Nightwing, leading some, including Bleeding Cool, to believe that the film role is all but locked up.
