Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– It seems like, just a few days after the pilot premiered, the comics internet is all about The Flash. Today, we got the first look at the Reverse Flash on the show and, as our own Vince Ostrowski said on Twitter, he looks just like the Reverse Flash! What a world we live in!

– In casting news, both Professor Stein (Victor Garber) and the Pied Piper (Andy Mientus) have joined The Flash. Garber will be one half of Firestorm, Dr. Martin Stein – the other half, Ronnie Raymond, will be played by cousin of Arrow star Stephen Amell, Robbie Amell. I shouldn’t have to give credentials for either, as Garber is an incredibly talent and versatile actor (who you’ve seen in Argo and Titanic, among dozens of other films), and I can only assume everyone reading the site was a huge Smash fan and knows Mientus well already.

– In our last bit of Flash related news, Newsarama believes that the Booster Gold series once intended for Syfy might be the proposed third DC show on the CW. Hourman is also named as a possibility. Either would be pretty great, if you ask me. Also in the article: Arrow producers actually approached Liam Neeson to be their Ra’s al Ghul, but schedules didn’t allow. That’s too bad, as Neeson has a very particular set of skills, one of which is playing Ra’s al Ghul.

– Jeremy Renner has had a lot to say about playing Hawkeye – on one hand, he wishes he had a bigger role in Avengers, on the other, he publicly said he doesn’t have a ton of interest in a solo Hawkeye movie. Psych! He’d be totally down, you guys!

– Owner of the best hair in comics, Mr. Scott Allie, is stepping away from the “Buffy” books to focus his attention more on being Dark Horse’s Editor in Chief. After 16 years on Buffy books, this is a huge change for Allie – good luck to incoming editor Sierra Hahn.

“Snake Eyes: Agent of Cobra” from Mike Costa and Paolo Villanelli sounds like straight up Chad Bowers bait. Also, it sounds totally awesome.

– Also from IDW, Jem comics!

– Brian Pulido has regained the rights to Lady Death from Avatar, and is launching Coffin Comics as a new publishing entity to be based around Lady Death, but that will also include a supernatural universe.

– One piece of Star Wars news, and one good Star Wars rumor popped up today. First, the news: when ABC re-airs the pilot to Star Wars Rebels later this month, Darth Vader will make a special appearance, voiced by James Earl Jones. That is pretty dope – but not as dope as a potential trilogy based around the pre-A New Hope, post Revenge of the Sith Obi-Wan Kenobi. If they can get Ewan McGregor on board, I’m on board.

– Titan Comics is really stacking the deck in 2015, bringing in Warren Ellis, Fred Van Lente, Peter Snejbjerg, Jenny Frison, and more. Wowsers.

– Looking for a trip to Europe, but full of the sweat and discomfort of home? Check out Reed Pop’s new Paris Comic Con!

– And, finally, if you happen to pull Michael Keaton for this year’s Secret Santa, consider getting him the Christopher Nolan Bat-trilogy – he hasn’t seen them yet!
