– Patrick Brennan, best know for playing Liam in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2, is joining Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as Blackout for an episode entitled “Providence.” This same episode will feature Patton Oswalt and Amy Acker.

– Peter David told a story at Emerald City Comicon this past weekend about how the just announced “The Dark Tower: The Drawing of the Three” series came about, and it boils down to two things: Steven King being a good man, and David not being shy about his enthusiasm for the project.

– Now that Hellboy is officially two decades old, Mike Mignola has announced plans to launch a 5 issue limited series entitled “Heavenboy in Heaven,” a sort of “What If?” story, telling what would have happened had the Archangel Michael had impregnated a nun, instead of Azzael impregnating a witch.

– Comics Vanguard has put together a very convenient guide for how artists can pitch most publishers. Aspiring artists: take note.

– Image has changed its policy for retailers on returning issues, and the new policy seems relatively fair.

– DC comics has announced that Scott Lobdell will not just be taking over “Red Hood and the Outlaws” again, but also “Batman (with artist Rob Liefeld),” post-“Zero Year,” “Wonder Woman (with artist Tony Daniel),” after the Azzarello/Chiang team steps off this summer, and “Superman” after Geoff Johns and John Romita Jr.’s three issue arc is up.

– Ever wish to add your created RPG character to an officially licensed game like, say, “Pathfinder?” Well, now you may be able to!

– The first track from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 soundtrack has been released, and it is a natural collaboration between Hans Zimmer, Pharrell Williams, Kendrick Lamar and Alicia Keys. Of course it is.
