Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email me at david@multiversitycomics.com.

– When asked about the previously discussed idea of “Ultimate Spider-Man” #200 and whether or not it was still happening, Brian Michael Bendis responded with “Yes! It was officially approved today actually. We are very excited.” (note: punctuation and what not added…besides the exclamation point). A lot of people think the Ultimate universe is ending with Cataclysm, and to be honest this thing could either be the coda for the story or a renumbering or any number of things. One way or another, we’re getting an issue #200 for this series. Which is cool because Miles Morales is the best.

– Sex Criminals #2 is OFFICIALLY banned by Apple for sale on ComiXology via iOS…but you can buy it on iBooks. Because life is weird man.

– Mike Mignola needs a couple pages from “Hellboy in Hell” for the IDW Artist’s Edition that is being released…but he sold them. He’s trying to track them down, so if you would be so kind, either contact Mike if you know where they are or share this with other comic fan friends.

Lying Dog by Fiona Staples. Fer weal.

– A few cinemas in Sweden have begun using the Bechdel Test as a way to indicate and notify potential viewers of gender bias in films. Named for cartoonist Allison Bechdel who created this idea – do two female characters talk about something that isn’t a man? – it’s very interesting to see it adopted in such a way.

– Jim Mahfood, the amazing artist with tons of street influence to his work, is having a totally cool looking art show called “Visual Funk”. Check it out at Robot 6.
