Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email me at david@multiversitycomics.com.

– It’s not every day a company comes out and says they were wrong, but this week, Kickstarter did just that. After much controversy about a guide to picking up women that was…a little on the physical side, Kickstarter came out against their own decision to take the project down, and came out putting their money where their mouth is in donating $25,000 to a good and related cause. Some people were still skeptical of what they had to say, but for me, I think it was a very nice touch, and something that is rare, sadly.
– Michael Lark is interviewed at Bleeding Cool about creator-owned vs. for-hire as well as Lazarus (sort of). It’s not a particularly good interview – not because of Michael, it’s just strangely done one both from a question and formatting standpoint – but this felt like a good time to say BUY LAZARUS THIS WEEK GOOD GOD. Also, Michael is super cool.
– You should also buy/read Supermag from Jim Rugg. Robot 6 has an interview with him up, and that guy is a gem. Don’t miss his work.
– The foundations of Benjamin Dewey’s Tragedy Series are hilariously awesome, as you can see in this Vine from yesterday.
