– IGN has an interview up with Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach, producers of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, where they seem pretty confident that Carnage will, in fact, be the villain of the upcoming Venom film. They cite this Daily Bugle Tumblr article as a potential clue.

– Paul Bettany has confirmed, though it was more or less confirmed anyway, his role as the Vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night.

– There is a fascinating chat with Milestone co-founder Michael Davis over at Bleeding Cool, which details a little bit of the working relationship between Milestone and DC, among other things.

Green Lantern: The Animated Series showrunner Giancarlo Volpe has shared a comic about his experience focus grouping the show. Again, this is a fascinating look into a part of the industry that we don’t often get to see.

– “Amelia Rules” creator Jimmy Gownley has a new OGN out called “The Dumbest Idea Ever!,” which is an autobiographical tale about how he got into comics. It is out now from Scholastic.

– There are lots of people trying to help out Bill Mantlo right now, including the folks behind Rom Remix – a site where artists tackle a page from “Rom: Space Knight” #1, with links to donate to the Mantlo family. Consider checking it out and donating some cash!

– The “Nailbiter” variant described by Bleeding Cool sounds awesome. Heed my warning: pre-order this book, because it will be huge.

– Ron Marz has been writing some comic strips for the Edgar Rice Burroughs website, and is now launching a new strip there, “Korak the Killer” with artist Rick Leonardi. There is a free preview of the strip at the site.

– One of our favorite artists, Christian Ward, has re-designed and relaunched his website. It looks really, really nice.

– And, finally, is this the real reason why Joss Whedon went over to Disney/Marvel?
