– So there is a theory out there that Wonder Woman’s origin, in the upcoming Batman Vs. Superman film, will be quite different than the one we’ve grown accustomed to [presumptive spoilers beyond this point]; in fact, the theory is that Diana, and her Amazon compatriots, all descent from the Kryptonians who came to Earth long before Kal-El did (presumably in the ship he finds in Man of Steel). While I understand this from a storytelling standpoint, I don’t really get it from a “I don’t like stupid things” standpoint. Time will tell, I suppose.
– Sean Murphy shares a shot of a new, African-American Robin, from his and Scott Synder’s story from “Detective Comics” #27, which drops tomorrow.
– Everyone is safe, and none of their property was destroyed, but there was a pretty serious fire near the Marvel offices in Midtown Manhattan today.
– Edgar Wright continues to toy with out emotions, as today he posted a photo, with the title “Homework,” of an episode of Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes – specifically the episode where Scott Lang steals Hank Pym’s gear. WHICH ANT-MAN ARE WE GETTING EDGAR? TELL US PLEASE!
– Will 2014 be the “year of the shared universe?” Heat Vision seems to think so.
– We’ve all been there – it’s 5am, you’ve been up all night, and all you can think of is, “Why can’t I buy a print of the cover of “The Private Eye” #4? Well, worry no morry! Panel Syndicate has opened up a webstore, and it is dope.
– And finally, the first trailer for Justice League: War, the new DC Direct film was released today, and Bleeding Cool has a comparison between the scene and a scene from the Johns/Lee “Justice League” #1. Don’t worry guys, DC Direct has got this!
