– In a story that, if true, would be absolutely terrible, Bryan Singer, director of X-Men, X2, Superman Returns, and X-Men: Days of Future Past, has been accused to sexually assaulting a teenage boy multiple times. We don’t like to speculate on these things until there is firm evidence in hand, but here is a link to a press conference from the accuser. Our only hope with all of this is that it gets resolved and justice gets served, whatever that means.
– Zack Snyder goes into some detail about how an initial Batman cameo became a co-starring role in the upcoming Superman/Batman movie.
– The covers for issues 2-4 of “The New 52: Futures End” have been revealed, which feature Mister Terrific, Firestorm, Amethyst and Frankenstein heavily.
– Cullen Bunn gives an interview at Comic Book Resources about his new creator-owned BOOM! mini, “The Empty Man.” The pitch of “contagious insanity” is a pretty great hook, isn’t it?
– I have really been enjoying the artwork Marvel has been commissioning for each episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. lately, and next week’s from Pascal Campion is one of the best yet.
– Executive producer of Arrow, writer of comics, and museum-name sharer Marc Guggenheim is about to release his first prose novel, “Overwatch,” which is a mixture of the spy and legal genres. When does this guy sleep?
– A new “Chastity” series, spinning out of the Tim Seeley-penned “Chaos” mini, is debuting from Dynamite in July, from the team of Marc Andreyko and Dave Acosta.
– Art and Franco’s “Aw Yeah Comics” will be released as trade paperbacks by Dark Horse, starting in July. Aw yeah!
– And finally, want to see a “real” web-shooter? Of course you do!
