Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email me at david.h@multiversitycomics.com.

– Yesterday, we were all shocked and saddened by the news of the explosions at the Boston Marathon. We all hope all of your and your friends and family are safe and unharmed. If any of you out there wish to help a worthy cause then “JL8” creator Yale Stewart has put out a special wallpaper which you can get with a donation. The donations will be spread evenly between the Red Cross and Boston’s Children Hospitals and Yale even reported on his facebook that donations had passed $2000.
– In other, more comic related news, Sam Humphries has an interview with CBR about his new book “Avengers A.I.” and he may have just give us a clue as to how “Age Of Ultron” might end.
In the aftermath of “Age of Ultron” we’ve got a whole new world of artificial intelligences colonizing the Marvel Universe. These are A.I.’s that now have the ability to create successive generations of A.I.s with increasing complexity and power, all without the help or interference of humanity.
I’d be willing to be that it has something to do with Logan’s time-travelling and that the “AOU” cast end up relocating back into the NOW! What do you all think?
– Remember how J.J. Abrams and McG almost made a Superman film together? No? Well, you’re probably better off, but ComicsAlliance has some sotryboards and concept art of Suoerman: FlyBy. So, if you’re still not sure of Man Of Steel, you might want to check what we almost got and maybe you’ll think of the new film a bit better.
– And who knew Patton Oswalt would make a good Penguin?
