Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email me at david@multiversitycomics.com.
Dave Bautisa? Ehhhh…not so much.
– Bleeding Cool has the story about a new Siegel centric note in the credits of Superman #19, and it’s a curious part of a continuously awful saga involving – shockingly – bad relations between creators and DC.
– MC fave Tommy Lee Edwards, the artist of Turf (amongst other things), is now the co-owner and senior director of NC Comicon. A smaller show, this con (like many others) has grown quickly thanks to the efforts of people like Edwards (a local). Now, the team made it official, and 2013 looks like it will be the biggest year yet with creators like Neal Adams and Geof Darrow making their way to the con. Congrats to Tommy Lee, and if you’re in the area, make sure to check this con out!
– It appears that Dark Horse Comics will be collecting Cameron Stewart’s Eisner nominated web comic Sin Titulo, at its original intended size and all, in a 184 page collection. This collection arrives September 24, and should be on the radar of all of you discerning comic readers out there.
