Just in time for Artist August, a group of talented artists started another great art blog to go along with Comic Twart, Eclectic Micks and the rest of the exceptional art blogs that have been popping up the past few years. This one is called “The Sindiecate” and stars David LaFuente (Ultimate Comics Spider-Man), Ryan Ottley (Invincible), Mike Choi (X-Force) Jorge F. Munoz and James Harren, and it does something a little different than the other art blogs: these creators will only be drawing characters from independent books, like the first week choice of “Tellos.”

Part of me thinks that, even though homaging mainstream superhero books can be very interesting, it also works as advertisement for them. These companies already have marketing departments doing excellent jobs. Indie books don’t have as many resources and believe they can use the exposure.
Get your bookmarks ready folks. This looks like it is going to be another awesome edition to the growing world of Art Blogs.
