Most of the time, when a show launches with big ratings it slowly drops down after the first week into a more comfortable niche that they’ll stay at for a while. Evidently AMC’s “The Walking Dead” did not hear about that, as after dropping from 5.3 million viewers to 4.7 on episode two, the third episode saw an increase to 5.1 million viewers. Incredible!
Congrats to Robert Kirkman, Frank Darabont, Gale Anne Hurd and the rest. It’s great to see a comic TV show be such a big success – especially when it’s a good one.
