Writer Tom Peyer, artist Jamal Igle, inker Juan Castro, and colorist Andy Troy will return for the miniseries, which will finally see both versions of the hero come face-to-face on a third world, while “racing to prevent identical catastrophes that threaten” their individual ones. This will be the second follow-up to the initial 2018 series, after last year’s recently collected prequel, “Dragonfly & Dragonflyman.”
“The Wrong Earth: Night & Day” #1 will be released in comics stores and online on January 6, 2021, and is among several other AHOY titles being announced for late 2020/early 2021. Yesterday, the publisher revealed a sequel to Mark Russell, Richard Pace and Leonard Kirk’s “Second Coming,” “Second Coming: Only Begotten Son,” as well as a new anthology, “Edgar Allan Poe’s Snifter of Blood,” which will debut on October 21 with stories by Paul Cornell, Russ Braun, and Dean Motter.
On Twitter, the company also teased a sequel to Stuart Moore and June Brigman’s “Captain Ginger,” the premise of which appears to be, “cats and dogs don’t get along,” but, “what if the cats and dogs were in spaaaaaaaaaaaaaace?” In the meantime, you can read a preview of “The Wrong Earth: Night & Day” #1 at Newsarama.
