A promo of some of the series regulars for the first six episodes of the Walking Dead TV show has been revealed, and it is fantastically glorious! Pictured above, our leading man Rick Grimes stands to protect a few of his fellow survivors, including his wife and son (IN A SCIENCE DOG SHIRT!) as well as some amazingly accurate representations of other cast members, with one sneaky zombie poking his head in the corner.
As pointed out by Splash Page, the cast from left to right is Emma Bell as an unnamed college student (possibly Amy), Jon Bernthal as troubled law enforcer Shane, Steven Yeun as the resourceful Glenn, Sarah Wayne Callies as Rick’s wife Lori, Chandler Riggs as their young son Carl, the previously revealed Lincoln as Rick, Jeffrey DeMunn as resident old guy Dale and Laurie Holden as his sharpshooter girlfriend Andrea.
While the other photos for the show have been fairly cool, this is the first one to get me really excited due to the obvious faithfulness to Kirkman’s tale. The show premieres in October, and that date can’t come soon enough!
