The real Y: The Last Man film is currently lost in development limbo somewhere and, truth be told, after reading the script we don’t really blame them. But just because Hollywood isn’t getting off their kiesters to make this comic a motion picture doesn’t mean fans can’t. And that’s exactly what one fan did.

Clocking in at a whopping 23-minutes, the film (originally posted on IGN was put together by Christian Cardona, who wrote, produced and directed the entire film. Starring Travis Quentin Young as Yorick Brown, Kent King as Agent 355 and Rebecca Marshall as Hero Brown, the film covers the first arc of “Y” with stunning accuracy and a whole lot of love. If you’ve ever read “Y”, you’re going to absolutely love this.

Tip of the hat to new MC contributor Jeremy Holt for finding this.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
