And there you have it! Thor has rounded out our new super-five with Captain America, Spider-Woman, Iron Man, and Hawkeye. That is, at least for this week. Are there more to this team? Probably. But every day this week Marvel has unleashed one promo, and I would go ahead and assume this is the last one.
Either way, if nothing else, these promos have shown us how great JRJR’s art is going to be. I know that a lot of people are a bit skeptical on him, but I have a lot of faith in the art. His constant runs in Spider-Man have been wonderful to look at, and just like his father I’m ready for him to do some truly historic art for the books. Those moments you just never forget. The Avengers is a perfect vehicle for that, and teamed up with Bendis, I think Avengers #1 is very easily a book you can go ahead and add to your pull now.
