Coming this year at Emerald City Comic Con, it looks like the strange is about to meet the thrilling as podcasts Welcome to Night Vale and The Thrilling Adventure Hour team-up for an evening. There’s no word as to how they’ll be combining or what this means for Cecil or any of the assorted members of the Thrilling Adventure Hour’s line-up (I’d imagine Frank and Sadie could have fun in Night Vale), but one thing is for sure: this is a can’t miss event at the convention this year.

True story: I only listen to two podcasts, and they’re the two mentioned in this post. So with this happening, it’s kind of like someone pulled thoughts straight out my dream journal and decided to make a show out of it.

In addition to the performance, both TAH And Night Vale will be at the convention all weekend long, with a free event on Friday for badge holders at the convention center. I have it on good authority that live podcasts at convention are totally the best, especially at ECCC, so this is looking to be one hell of a con this year.

Tickets are on sale now. Pick one up for you and me so we can sit together and enjoy the show, OK? I’m good company.

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
