Prepare yourself for more creator owned comic book goodness this July as Titan Comics launches a brand new publishing line! Over at USAToday the initial line up of new creator owned comics.
The two opening salvos of Titan Comics are two miniseries. The first is “Numbercruncher” (seen above) written by Si Spurrier with art by P.J. Holden about a dead mathematician and his attempts at resurrection in order to be reunited with his lost love. The second is “Chronos Commandos: Dawn Patrol” from writer/artist Stuart Jennett.
Then in September we get two more series: “Gravestown” by Roger Gibson and Vince Danks and “Surface Tension” by Jay Gunn. And in October yet another series, this time “Death Sentence” from Monty Nero and Mike Dowling about a sexual transmitted disease that grants superpowers with a six month mortality rate.
Also being published are four new collections in July. Carl Critchlow’s “Thrud The Barbarian”, “Ring Of Roses” from Das Petrou and John Watkiss and two new collections of Jack Katz’s “The First Kingdom”.
Be sure to head over to USAToday for more info on the books and an interview with Titans Comics publisher Nick Landau.
